Rubbish in our school

One of our ideas to solve the rubbish problem around our school is making posters to encourage people to put their rubbish in the bin.  These students have made posters in comiclife using photos they took.

What's the problem?

Today we went for a walk around our playground and field area and we noticed a problem.

There is rubbish everywhere! Our challenge is to think of a way we can help stop this problem. Do you have any ideas?

Peacemakers and Peacebreakers

Today we shared ideas about how to be a Peacemaker in the classroom and ways we might be Peacebreakers. We are going to try really hard to be peacemakers and help each other to learn. Room 5 Class Treaty

In Room 5, we used all our ideas from our brainstorming activities to write our class treaty.  These are the things we have agreed to do so we can have a successful year.

This week, we have been talking about different ways that we can be a Learning Hero.  We brainstormed lots of interesting words about what we think we need to be doing to be Room 5 Learning Heroes.  Check out our amazing display!  Miss Thomas was impressed that we could think of so many important ideas.
